Traffic on the N2 towards Butterworth is at a standstill as officials are working to clear the road after an articulated truck overturned in Kei Cuttings Wednesday morning.
Department of transport Khuselwa Rantjie said the truck was travelling from East London when the driver lost control of the truck, causing it to overturn.
The driver escaped unharmed, while a passenger travelling with him sustained minor injuries.
"The truck was ferrying mealie-meal, but it wasn't damaged. One lane is still closed as traffic officials are trying to remove the truck from the road. Investigations will continue."..
