A team of EMS personnel has finally arrived to help with a rescue mission from Saturday's horrific car accident at the Magwa Falls in Lusikisiki.
DispatchLIVE reported at the weekend that at least one person died after a vehicle plunged off the Magwa Falls.
Eastern Cape department of health spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo earlier said the deceased was still trapped in the car and that the SA Air Force had been called in to assist with the rescue.

On Tuesday evening, Kupelo said a team of EMS rescuers arrived at the scene to set up camp until Wednesday morning when the South African Defense Force will arrive with the Oryx helicopter to assist with the rescue. “It’s a bigger helicopter but let’s see how it goes tomorrow.”
