Police   are looking  for  gunmen  who  raided a house in Mthatha, shot and killed   four people including  a  woman  in what people  believe believed to be a revenge killing in a drug war.

But police spokeswoman Captain Dineo Koena confirmed the killing put declined to speculate about the motive of the killing.

'' Police are looking for suspects who shot and killed four people -  three men and a woman. The  deceased all aged 30 were found shot dead. They were all shot in the upper body. Police have found 10 empty pistolcartridges on the scene of crime. We do not know the motive of the killing yet . The killing happened at about 8pm on Wednesday, but the case was reported  to the police  today (Thursday),'' said Koena.

The victims were killed execution style inside an abandoned railway houses near the station not far from Mthatha Plaza. They were all staying in the house. The killed woman was   girlfriend of one of three other men who escaped uninjured, said one of the people who escaped being killed.

Police and the King Sabata Dalindyebo municipality said that the place called known as Soweto or Marestin was a notorious haven for criminals. The alleged killers of the popular Methodist Church Bishop Thembinkosi Fandaleki and an the alleged three killers  Mthatha lawyer Prince Bulumko Nonkonyana, son of Eastern Cape House of Traditional Leaders Nkosi Mwelo Nonkonyana were arrested in this area.
